We can train you to become a
Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor
Legal Requirements
The initial legal requirements are that you have held your driving licence for 4 years, it has no points on it, and you have not been banned from driving.
If you have held your licence for over 3 years you could start the qualification process, with the aim of being qualified when you do fulfil the 4 year requirement.
If your licence has points on it or you have been banned please contact us for further advice, you may still be eligible to become a Driving Instructor.
Qualification Process
There are 3 examinations to pass to become a
Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor.
Part 1 ADI Theory Test (and hazard perception)
Part 2 Driving Ability
Part 3 Ability to Instruct
Training
We provide training for all 3 parts of the qualifying exams, and can also provide you with a position as a Driving Instructor when you qualify.
